The Throne of Fire (Kane Chronicles Series #2)
This is the second in the Kane Chronicles series, which follow Sadie and Carter Kane, who descend from two lines of Egyptian pharaohs and are magicians. As in the first one, it is told as a transcription of a tape recording made by Carter and Sadie. Its exactly what I expected, having read the first in this series, and the Percy Jackson series. Smart banter between the teens, the appearances of several Egyptian gods, some embracing the modern world. Its a fun read with some good action points, and some snarky humor. Fans of the Percy Jackson series won't be disappointed in these turns with the Egyptian pantheon.
